Referral Bonus Program - Customer Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

Roster's Referral Bonus Program allows clients to offer a cash reward to any Roster user who successfully refers a candidate that is subsequently hired for an open role. These terms govern the client's obligations and Roster's role in administering the program.

2. Escrow & Payment

  • Clients must deposit the full referral prize amount plus a platform fee into escrow before the referral bonus is activated on their listing.
  • Platform fees are as follows: 10% of the prize amount for ACH/bank transfer payments; 15% of the prize amount for credit card payments.
  • Escrow deposits are held by Roster until a qualifying hire is made or the listing closes without a hire.

3. Refund Policy

  • If no hire is made via Roster, the client will receive a full refund of their escrow deposit (prize + platform fee) if payment was made via ACH/bank transfer.
  • If payment was made via credit card, the platform fee is non-refundable. Only the prize amount will be refunded.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of listing closure.

4. Qualifying Hire

A hire qualifies for the referral bonus payout if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The referred candidate was shared via a unique Roster referral link generated after the listing was published.
  • The candidate applied to the listing using that referral link as the entry point. Referrals cannot be claimed retroactively.
  • The candidate was subsequently hired by the client for the listed role.
  • The referrer is not the same individual as the hired candidate.

5. Listing Expiry

The referral bonus is only active while the listing is live on Roster. Referrals made after a listing closes do not qualify. If a listing is extended or reopened, the referral window reopens accordingly, subject to the original escrow deposit remaining in place.

6. Payout

Upon confirmation of a qualifying hire, Roster will notify the referrer and process the prize payout within 14 business days, provided the referrer responds within 30 days of notification with valid payment details. If the referrer does not respond within 30 days, the bonus is forfeited and the prize amount will be refunded to the client. The platform fee is retained by Roster in all cases.
